Immersion pickling

Immersion pickling

The pickling operations are traditionally carried out using the immersion technique, which involves the passage of the product through various tanks of variable size.

Over the years, to overcome the inconvenience associated with this type of technique, the innovative spray mode has been developed: the tanks are replaced by closed booths that prevent the escape of dangerous gases deriving from the processing, so such as unpleasant odors or chemicals that could damage the surrounding environment. Furthermore, this type of technique allows a reduction in consumption and costs due to a smaller quantity of chemical solution used which allows to reduce the economic cost of management linked to heating, suction and maintenance of chemicals in optimal conditions.

Delmet has designed two plants for spray pickling, Poseidon and Poseidon Compact, the latter capable of processing in just 3 square meters, reducing possible difficulties; linked to the overall dimensions of the system. The advantages are many:

- Energy saving

- Consumption and repetitive and monitorable costs

- Lower quantity of chemist used

- An easy and technologically innovative system designed for industry 4.0

- Greater safety for technicians due to the lack of direct contact with the process liquids used

- The parts to be treated are inserted into the station through a removable trolley built to measure according to the customer's needs
